Begin your tour with pickup from your accommodation and soak up the scenery while crossing the Vasco da Gama bridge. Continue your journey through the vineyards and cork oak fields. This off the beaten path tour takes you then to “Adega do Catapereiro” shop and winery for a guided visit and a sample of a variety of fine Portuguese wines.
Before heading for lunch at a local restaurant where the menu is not in English, visit the Royal Falconry and witness a falcon’s flight. The practice of Falconry was elected by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The last stop is a private country estate just outside of Lisbon. Meet a true local family that makes a living doing what they love the most and spend the rest of the afternoon with their farm animals and hold a meerkat. Enjoy a horseback riding with a former rider and learn all about living in the countryside. Don’t worry if it is your first time riding a horse, full instruction is provided and the horses are well-trained, suitable for complete beginners.
When your horseback ride concludes, you’ll be driven back to Lisbon, where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel/accommodation.
