Overview of your tour

We’ll meet at the square Praça da Figueira in the morning and cross Lisbon’s 25th of April Bridge in our comfortable van. Here you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to witness the Christ King Statue and Belém. For our culture fix, we’ll head to a famous 200-year-old wine cellar run by a Portuguese family. There we’ll learn about the sweet wine “Moscatel” and enjoy two tastings. Next, we’ll visit a local cafe to enjoy treats such as cheese and pastries while chatting to your guide about life in Portugal (if you wish).

The fishing town of Setúbal is next on our list, and it’s a must-see in the area. Here we’ll enter one of the best markets in Portugal (closed on Mondays). You’ll be greeted by an array of colors and smells with the variety of fruit and vegetables on display. If you’re hungry, here’s an opportunity to enjoy a delicious seafood lunch before we make our way to the Arrábida Mountains. These mountains are the ideal stop for nature lovers or for those who’d like to take a swim in crystal waters with mountain views. One of the beaches we pass, Galapinhos Beach, was crowned the Best Beach in Europe 2017(opens in a new tab) by Europe’s Best Destination. But be warned: the water up here is cold!
