Overview of your tour
If world-class destinations, friendly guides, and personalized attention are your thing, then you’ve come to the right place. Let Portuguese For a Day help you explore the cultural landscape of this UNESCO Listed Site by delving deeper into the region than any other tour company around! We’ll meet up in central Lisbon — bright and early to beat the crowds — before we make our way to beautiful Pena Park and Palace.
We’ll then head to Quinta da Regaleira, a beautiful estate dating back to the end of the Portuguese monarchy. Take your time to explore grottos, underground paths, an inverted tower, a waterfall, and many more unique surprises.
Afterwards, stroll through the streets of Sintra and enjoy a typical Portuguese lunch (at your own cost) in one of the many traditional restaurants. We like to recommend some of our favorite places to eat, and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction! With so many options available, you’re bound to find something to whet your appetite.
After lunch, you will have time to browse the shops in the town center of Sintra, and enjoy some free time to relax in this absolutely unique town.
During the tour, your guide will be with you every step of the way (except lunch break), offering guided visits in both locations, as well as Sintra in general.
We’ll then head back to Lisbon, arriving around 3:40PM.

Yes, of course! Our group tours are a great way to meet like-minded travelers. All of our shared tours require a minimum of four people to run; however, we welcome reservations from solo travelers (no need to purchase two tickets!). If there are fewer than four people booked on tour, we will reschedule the tour for another day or offer you a different tour.
