Overview of your tour

Our Private Lisbon City Tour is the ideal excursion for first-time Lisbon travelers or for those who’d like to learn from a true local! Benefit from the undivided attention of your local guide as we explore everything from Lisbon’s most iconic sites to hidden gems only true Lisboans know about.

Our first stop is to the Christ King Statue to soak up the incredible panoramic views over the city. We’ll then make our way to Belém, Lisbon’s unofficial center of historical buildings, to learn about the plight of Portuguese explorers and to take in the most significant monuments. We’ll then sample traditional custard tart (Pastel de Belém) at Lisbon’s famous pastry cafe before visiting the Campo de Ourique market. Witness vendors selling vibrant fruit and vegetables, and if you’re hungry, you can opt to have your lunch in the food court attached to the market. With a variety of meat and fish dishes, as well as sandwiches and desserts, there is bound to be something that appeals to everyone.

For fantastic photo opportunities, we’ll travel to some of Lisbon’s most famous neighborhoods. First stop, Alfama — Lisbon’s oldest and most typically Portuguese neighborhood. For a change of tempo, we’ll head to the relatively tourist-free neighborhood of Graça to witness colorful street art and quaint cafes. Finally, a trip to Lisbon wouldn’t be complete without heading downtown and to the main avenue, Avenida da Liberdade, to soak up the atmosphere of Bairro Alto. We’ll finish your introduction to Lisbon by visiting one of the best viewpoints in the city to take in the capital’s beauty.
